Matt Jay

Matt grew up in North Carolina and is proud to have called Raleigh home for the last 20 years (and counting). After sharpening his customer service skills in hotels and restaurants, he began his work in cosmetology as a salon coordinator in Chapel Hill for several years before finding his place at Crazy Combs. While working with owner, Traci, Matt realized his true passion and began classes at Paul Mitchell the School Raleigh for cosmetology and eventually took his place beside his Crazy Combs family as a fellow stylist. 

In his free time, Matt can be found playing with his kitties at home, camping, crocheting, and spending time with his husband, John. Matt is an easy going, down to earth, no drama type of guy. He truly enjoys his time with his clients and the journey that he and each and everyone take together. Matt is happy to provide his clients with haircuts, color services, and keratin smoothing treatments.
